Our Caregivers and Live-in Carers support clients to remain independent and in their own homes for as long as possible.

The opportunity to be part of a local ‘family feel’, supportive Company
We have a senior male client in his 90’s, who requires support with the activities of daily living. A very friendly, interesting and chatty man who thrives when in the company of others. He has a very supportive family that are actively involved in his care and support. Our client lives with dementia and needs support to keep well as long as possible. This placement can be 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, but open to negotiation.
Duties will include:
· Companionship and motivating a client to get the most out of their day
· Personal care
· Administering medication
· Assisting a client with washing and dressing
· Shopping
· Housekeeping
· Meal preparation
· Taking a client for appointments or outings
Skills and experience:
A compassionate nature and friendly personality
Excellent communication skills
Basic cookery and food hygiene skills
Requirements:
· Must be able to commute for training in Ipswich.
. It will be desirable but not essential to hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving licence and have access to own vehicle
· Have a genuine desire to make a difference
· Be a reliable people-person

You might already have experience as a Live-in Carer, as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Health Care Assistant or in the NHS, and want to use your experience to help enrich a client’s life on a long-term support basis. If so, we would love to hear from you.
An Enhanced DBS is required for this role and we carry this out for you if you are not already on the update service.
