Why Right at Home Ipswich Woodbridge and Felixstowe is Different:
Most care roles can feel rushed. Ours don't. We are proud to be rated as "Outstanding" by the CQC. Our care inspector noted: “People were at the very heart of the service... the philosophy and values were shared across the staff team.”
If you want to provide care the way it should be done, for a company that you would be proud to work for – we want to speak to you.
What We Offer You:
Time to Care: Minimum one-hour visits mean you are never rushing out the door. You have time to build real relationships.
Work-Life Balance: Whether you want 16 or 38 hours a week, we work with you to fit your career around your life commitments.
Premium Pay: Earn £15.00–£16.00 per hour, plus a generous mileage allowance to ensure your travel is well-compensated.
Career Growth: We don't just offer a job; we offer a career path with access to high-quality training and advanced learning.
Total Support: You’ll never be thrown in at the deep end. You will shadow experienced team members and receive a personal introduction to every client.
The Role:
You will support and care for older adults in your local community to live independently in their own homes. Your day might include:
Companionship by enjoying a cup of tea and a meaningful chat.
A helping hand at home by assisting with light housekeeping to keep their environment tidy, safe, and comfortable.
Helping with morning and evening routines and personal care.
Preparing meals or popping to the shops.
Accompanying clients to appointments or fun outings.
Who are we looking for?
You don’t necessarily need a background in care! You might have personal experience of caring for a loved one. We find that people from Retail, Hospitality, Hairdressing, or Cleaning sectors have the perfect transferable skills.
All we ask is that you:
Have a genuine passion for helping others.
Hold a full UK or EU/EEA driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
Are reliable and can work alternate weekends (both Sat/Sun) or evenings.
We offer excellent training and ongoing support to ensure that you are happy and confident in your role. "The training is superb." – Current Care Team Member
